Job Opportunity: Digital Account Manager (3 month contract, leading to full-time)

We're looking to add talent to our roster.    We’re looking for a self-starter that’s interested in building and piloting a new Collective Motion service line targeting the financial services sector.  At the outset, you’ll be working alongside Collective Motion’s founder to finalize the product and processes. Once the business is up and running, you will be the first point of contact for clients, helping them get established, listening to their feedback and implementing learnings to ensure client satisfaction and success.

If the pilot is successful, this will convert into a full-time position.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating digital content for the financial services sector. You will have hands-on experience using marketing automation tools to help design and manage client campaigns. You are comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where you can develop and define a product that’s moving from the whiteboard to the market. You will be an expert problem solver, coming up with solutions to unanticipated issues. You are hyper-organized, and can help create new processes that guarantee nothing falls between the cracks.

Here's what the job involves:

  • Onboard new clients to get accounts set up successfully
  • Ongoing management of client accounts, including channel set up, linking accounts and distribution of content to client accounts
  • Work with creative resources to develop digital financial services content (blogs, social media, email)
  • Work with design assets to create basic digital assets using Canva, such as social content, banners & writing engaging ad copy / posts etc.
  • Create and/or curate content that engages customers/ prospects and drives a buying journey.
  • Creating, scheduling, and launching posts on our clients blog, and on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms.
  • Building social following and engagement across a variety of channels, from social media platforms to review sites to active community forums.
  • Analyzing reports on social performance, trends, and new opportunities.

Skills, knowledge, and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in English journalism or marketing preferred.

2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing with a good understanding of the digital marketing channel landscape, including working knowledge of campaign activation and delivery across paid search, social, display, video, affiliates, and others.

Understanding of business-to-consumer (B2C) writing for web and social media.

Working knowledge of marketing automation tools (Constant Contact, Active Campaign Hubspot etc.).

Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and the ability to work with various teams to prioritize tasks for multiple deliverables and timelines.

Proven ability to manage multiple accounts & strategies.

Experience with Canva.
